Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw (/θɒ́/ /jæ̂fæ/ [crazy; insane; silly] [policy]) is a subtropical Small Town located in the Ká̌váä Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw is derived from the Goblin language, as Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw was founded by Tsîm Tshèj Tresëm, who was culturaly Goblin.

Climate

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw has a yearly average temperature of 15°C (59°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 4°C (39°F). Overview

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1172, by Tsîm Tshèj Tresëm. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Tsîm Tshèj Tresëm.

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw is buildings are built arround a single broad paverstone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The minimaly adiquite have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. You get the terrible feeling that whatever it was, the wound it left will simply never heal. This town is as a necropolice.

Civic Infrastructure

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw.

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Cultural Notes

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is long in Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw.

The Necrocraft near Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw are known to be quite timid.

Tḩaẃ Yä̂fä Nêōw's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Augury energies of tier 2 via speaking in tongues.
